Drake's next project, 'More Life', is out March 18
After weeks of teasing and speculation, Drake has finally announced that his long-awaited More Life project is set for release on March 18. Currently in Europe on “The Boy Meets World” tour, Drake took to Instagram to share a video teaser for the project, also confirming that fans can expect to hear it next week.
While an official tracklist hasn’t been made available just yet (there’s been a lot of fake ones floating around online), More Life is expected to include the songs “Sneakin” featuring 21 Savage, “Fake Love” and “Two Birds, One Stone.” There’s also been a lot of UK artists teasing ‘More Life’ and Drake’s been teasing an upcoming collaboration with Giggs, so we may get a few features from some of the UK’s finest on there too. There's also speculation that Frank Ocean could be featured on the project too.
And while Views was released as an Apple Music exclusive, Spotify and Amazon's streaming service have confirmed that they will be hosting 'More Life' as soon as it drops tomorrow (alongside Apple Music).
The singer took to Tumblr (March 13) to post a bathroom selfie, along with the caption: “cuz the 6 has the aux cable”. Some fans have speculated that the photo could mean that Ocean is set to feature on ‘More Life’ (“the 6” is the nickname of Drake’s home city of Toronto).
In a recent interview with DJ Semtex, Drake described More Life as a playlist of music one would hear when tuned into his OVO Sound Radio show on Beats 1.
More Life will be available on March 18.
In other Drake news, during his tour stop in Paris this past weekend (March 12) the rapper surprised concert goers by bringing out Nicki Minaj for a special performance. The Young Money label mates, who recently collaborated on “No Frauds”, performed a medley of hits including “Moment for Life” and “Truffle Butter”.
