Jay-Z's '4:44' now available on all streaming platforms (except Spotify), three bonus tracks revealed

UPDATE: While ‘4:44’ was initially only available on TIDAL and to Sprint customers, Jay-Z’s 13th studio album finally arrives on all streaming platforms – except Spotify. Universal Music also confirmed that physical copies will have three additional bonus tracks. These three new tracks are titled “Adnis,” “Blue’s Freestyle/We Family,” and “ManyFacedGod.” That last one boasts a feature from British R&B singer James Blake.

The moment has finally arrived. After releasing numerous video teasers, Jay-Z’s 13th studio album, 4:44, is finally here for us to stream. Released exclusively on TIDAL, 4:44 is a 10-track effort which boasts collaborations with Frank Ocean, Damian Marley, The-Dream, Kim Burrell, Gloria Carter, as well as wife Beyoncé and daughter Blue Ivy Carter. Executively produce by No I.D., a frequent collaborator of the Brooklyn MC in recent years, 4:44 is already touted as his most personal project yet, as well as a response to Beyoncé’s visual album LEMONADE, which hinted that her husband cheated with another woman throughout the project.

4:44’s title track is an open love/apology letter to Beyoncé. In an interview with iHeartRadio, he explained why the track is so important to the album. “I woke up, literally, at 4:44 in the morning, 4:44 a.m., to write this song,” he said. “It’s the title track because it’s such a powerful song, and I just believe one of the best songs I’ve ever written.”
