2013 Gospel Mobo nominee Sandra Godley leads Motown Tribute

MOBO nominee & multi award winning singer songwriter, Sandra Godley takes to the stage leading an impressive line up of talented performers. The Sounds of the 60s, 70s & 80s will take you on a journey of Motown, Soul and Gospel influenced music. Joining Sandra on stage will be a packed line up of outstanding performers including four local BBC The Voice singers (Karl Loxley, Letitia George, Reece Bahia & Jimmy Weston), local sensations Larna Andrews, Laura Warwick & Richard Fairlie, The Coventry & Warwickshire Gospel Choir & Allesley School of Dance . Sandra enthuse;

"It will be an evening of smooth sounds and pure entertainment. The Lord Mayor of Coventry will open up the event. I'll also be performing a special duet with my beautiful daughter, Francesca. My special guest for the evening will pop legend/actress Miquel Brown, mother to TV personality, Sinitta"

The evening will be hosted by BBC presenter Trish Adudu. Since being nominated for a MOBO Best Gospel Act in 2013 Sandras's has gone from strength to strength. She has easily acquired the title of Queen of Midland Gospel...possibly Britain & is easily recognised as the hardest working person in British Gospel.

The Sounds of the 60s, 70s & 80s takes place at The Belgrade Theatre, Coventry, Friday 6th March at 7.45pm and is sponsored by the Rotary Club of Coventry.
