Rihanna Breaks A New Chart Record With 10 Billboard Number Ones
It seems Rihanna can do no wrong musically; the singer has broken chart records by securing her 10th number one on the Billboard pop songs radio airplay chart.
The Bajan star topped the chart with ‘Stay’ her collaboration with Mikky Ekko after the single jumped one place to the top spot this week.
The number one means the star moves ahead of close friend Katy Perry who she tied with at nine number one singles.
The accolade already adds to the beauty’s array of achievements including the only artist to have 35 entries on the Billboard pop songs chart.
More good news for RiRi is the announcement she is up for 10 Billboard awards including Top Artist and Top Female Artist at the Las Vegas show May 19.
The singer showed her appreciation by tweeting a message to fans:
I owe this to my fans and to Billboard! Thank you for the love! It's pretty major!… instagram.com/p/Yak32SBMwC/— Rihanna (@rihanna) April 22, 2013
