It’s been three years since Rihanna released her eighth-studio album, so anticipation for her next full-length LP is high. Having used the time away from music to build a beauty empire with Fenty Beauty, as well as other ventures, it looks like 2019 may be the year where she puts music at the forefront once again.

While she hasn’t confirmed exactly when fans can expect to hear her new album, she has been snapped in the studio in recent months and now several live dates have leaked online too.

On Wednesday (February 20), fans spotted dates appearing in Google searches, with some US dates being as early as April in Portland and Cleveland in June. Other dates appear later in the year for September and October and include shows in New York, Atlanta, Cleveland and Washington. While yet to be confirmed by the singer, if these dates are any indication, it looks like Rihanna could be releasing a new album or new music in April to support the live dates.

Leading producer The-Dream also confirmed to HOT 97’s Ebro Darden back in January that Rihanna has almost finished on her latest effort.

“She’s cooking, she’s about done. She’s about done. Super close”.
