MOBO featured on a new ITV show, The Big Audition Friday 19th October at 9pm, where viewers saw Founder and CEO Kanya King CBE, joined by Sarah Ellis, Managing Director of Gravity Road, and Lisa Goodchild. MOBO Digital Liaison and Founder Digiwoo and DigiLearning as they searched for a new Social Media Content Creator.
The Big Audition is a brand-new factual entertainment series which goes behind the scenes of the casting world. The series witnesses real people being cast for real jobs, which have the potential to be lifechanging. The casting panels are searching to fill all sorts of roles and anyone can audition, from seasoned professionals to first-timers. Through The Big Audition fixed rig cameras viewers uncover the decisionmaking process of the panels and see what really goes on in the casting studio. In the episode on 19th October, auditionees where asked to showcase their knowledge of MOBO through a series of tasks including interviewing multi MOBO Award winning Marvin Humes of JLS and Capital Radio.

The panel, where so impressed by the auditionees that they created opportunities for not one, but six talented individuals, all of which were invited to join the MOBO Movement, MOBOs team of aspiring vloggers, bloggers, photographers and presenters.
Identical Twins, Gareth and Mason were offered the coveted role of Social Media Content Creator, which will see them create content for MOBO online channels as well as interview some of the hottest talent in music backstage at the MOBO Awards in 2019.
Young dad Kevin, was offered the opportunity to spend a month working in award winning creative agency, Gravity Road and is due to start in January 2019. During his time at Gravity Road, Kevin will have the opportunity to create content for MOBO as well as work on creative ideas with the Gravity Road team for some of the UK’s biggest brands.
Whereas other auditionees Adi, Cassandra and Mz Dru have all provided social media coverage at special MOBO Movie screenings including Whitney and Crazy Rich Asians as part of the MOBO Movement.
Since the audition, Adi has also interviewed the cast of Crazy Rich Asians for MOBO YouTube Channel, Gareth and Mason provided backstage coverage at South West Four festival, Kevin has created content at the premiere for A Star is Born, and Cassandra has covered Shardfest.
