Drake is dropping a new album in 2019

Most fans are still digesting Drake’s No. 1 album, Scorpion, but the MOBO Award-winning artist shows no signs of slowing down as he teased that a new album is on the way.

According to a fan video, shot during a tour stop in Edmonton, Canada, the 6 God told the crowds that he had plans of getting right back into the recording studio as soon as his Aubrey & the Three Migos Tour wraps up.

“Six shows left,” he began. “I guess most people would go on a vacation, or I don’t know what they do…But I’mma tell you what I’m gonna do.”

Not only will the album mark his 6th official LP, but it may also signify his first official release without the involvement of Cash Money Records. The rapper has rapped about the fact that he is close to fulfilling his contract with the record company… I guess we will have to wait and see when the new LP arrives.
