Alika has been named the winner of MOBO UnSung 2016. Hailing from West London, the singer-songwriter and producer, follows on from 2014 MOBO UnSung winners MiC Lowry, who recently signed a lucrative record deal with Sony.
Her unique sound and honest lyrics captured the attention of the public and the UnSung industry strong panel, allowing her to climb her way to the top and earn the crown of the 2016 MOBO UnSung winner, beating stiff competition from our runners up Mega Keggwa & Mullally.
Alika is now set to have a memorable 2017. All of the Top 10 UnSung finalists will receive opportunities to attend industry seminars, where they will have the opportunity to learn about key areas of the music industry from some of the best in the music business.
Other activities and opportunities will include; live performance opportunities across the UK, as well as studio time with established songwriters and producers.
Supported by PRS for Music Foundation, MOBO UnSung aims to provide emerging talents with priceless opportunities which can significantly contribute to their personal creative development, whilst improving their understanding of the music industry.
