Friday 10 November – Get ready for the MOBO Awards, the UK’s biggest celebration of urban music and culture. International music sensation Cardi B is amongst the first names to be announced as a 2017 MOBO Award performer. The Bronx rap star became the first female rapper in 19 years to top the Billboard Hot 100 with a solo hit. Her breakout smash ‘Bodak Yellow’ is the unmistakable rap anthem of the summer. This will be Cardi B’s first ever UK awards show performance. She is nominated for Best International Act alongside DJ Khaled, Drake, Kendrick Lamar, Solange and Sza.

Fresh from sending both their mixtapes “7 Days” and “7 Nights” straight into the UK Top 10, Krept & Konan are now set for a major return to the MOBO Awards stage in Leeds on 29 November. Stefflon Don was tipped by Complex UK and BBC Music Sound of 2017 as one to watch and in the past few months alone, she has racked up a UK Top 10 hit with ‘Hurtin’ Me’ and a Top 20 hit on Jax Jones’ ‘Instruction’ with Demi Lovato.

Yungen’s infectious hit ‘Bestie’ with Yxng Bane, topped the Official Charts’ Official Trending Chart last month and has clocked over 25 million streams on Spotify to date, there is no stopping the multi-faceted star that is Yungen. The South London sensation will be bringing his blend of rap and R&B to the stage with Yxng Bane to cap off a hugely successful year that will no doubt leave listeners watching his next steps intently.
