Students at a school in Miami got the surprise of their life when Drake showed up to shoot a music video on Monday (Feb 5.). According to various posts online, the Hip Hop star was shooting a video for his chart-topping single “God’s Plan”. Aside from shooting a music video, Drake also took some time out to speak with some of the students and take a walk around the campus.

But his appearance wasn’t the only surprise of the day. Before leaving the school, Drake donated $25, 000 and announced that all students will be supplied with uniforms designed by the star himself. Shortly after leaving the school, Drake later appeared on the campus of the University of Miami to surprise a student with a $50, 000 scholarship.
Winning student Destiny Paris told ABC News that she thought she was filming a video on Monday to encourage scholarship donors.
"This was the surprise the whole time. Drake told me that he has read great things about me and appreciates how hard I've worked through so many trials and decided to give me $50K for my tuition," James wrote on Facebook. "Thank you so much! You don't understand what this means to me!"
